Get to know more about Shiyu,
My design journey began with landscape architecture. Growing up with parents in the design industry, I was encouraged to be creative and to explore hands-on skills like sketching and painting from an early age. Their influence and opportunities to travel and experience landscapes worldwide naturally led me to pursue a formal education in landscape architecture.
As I started my professional career, I discovered my passion for UX design while completing the Google UX Design Certificate. I gained a deeper understanding of user-centered design, the problem-solving approach, and design with empathy.
Today, I leverage my multidisciplinary expertise to craft intuitive, user-centered digital products that meet users' needs and inspire joy and engagement. With my background in landscape architecture, I bring a holistic approach to UX design - balancing beauty and function while focusing on how people naturally interact with their environment.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy hiking, skiing, visiting museums, and exploring different cultures. At home, I love spending time with my cat, JoJo.
